Manon Rhéaume made history by becoming the first and only woman to play in an NHL exhibition game. She was signed by the Tampa Bay Lightning and played games against the St. Louis Twenty-five years ago today, Sept. 23, 1992. She became the first woman to play in one of North America's four major men's professional sports leagues. An inspiration for all girls who aspiring for the big honors.
